Welsh Grand National Result 2009
There was some terrible weather conditions in the build up to the 2009 Welsh Grand National with the race only going ahead after four inspections. When it did go ahead we had a surprise winner in Dream Ahead who triumphed after a huge lay-off with an injury. He was the class of the race as he stormed clear over the final fence to take the glory for Phillip Hobbs and connections.
Silver By Nature ran on well to claim a good second place while the favourite Le Beau Bai never looked like winning despite running a decent race while Miko De Beauchene claimed the final place back in 4th.
